Im making this blog in hopes of maybe someone else finding this who is going through the same struggles and hardships I am. Right now, im in the middle of coming out. My parents know (im 21, college student) and i still live with them due to financial problems on my behalf, which means i need their approval to start, as my insurance will only cover the therapist visits and Hormone treatments i will be receiving.
Let me introduce myself, my birth name is Dante, But my gender correct name is Aimee. i am a MTF (male to female) Transgender and i do hope to eventually get to where surgery is the next step. But as i was always taught, a journey of a thousand steps starts with just one. I am going to speak to my family later today, in hopes of explaining a bit of whats going on wit me. I have known i was suppose to be a girl for many, many years, but due to abuse by my late father after i tried to talk to them the first time, i have been secluded with it until now.
I will be posting on here every day, or anytime something substantial happens that turns this journey to the next step. I will post again later after i find out whats going to happen with me. My parents arent friendly, and im scared to death i wont have a home to live in after i talk to them....well..signing off for now!
